The new legislation regarding the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of CHemicals (REACH), Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, requires all substances, new and existing, that are marketed in the European Union and manufactured or imported in a quantity of ≥1 tonne per year to undergo registration.
